Kip Moore has earned platinum certifications for two recent singles.

'Somethin' 'Bout a Truck' is now certified double-platinum, with sales and streams totaling over two million units, while 'Hey Pretty Girl' has hit platinum status. Moore performed the latter song at the recent 2014 American Country Countdown Awards, where he also took home the award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year over Brett EldredgeTyler FarrThomas Rhett and Cole Swindell.

"I'm humbled by the overwhelming loyalty and support from my band, country radio and especially the fans who have been coming to see us on tour and buying our music. I couldn't have imagined in my wildest dreams that we would be talking about millions of sales and streams of songs I've written," Moore says. "It's surreal, and I can't wait to show everyone what we have planned for 2015."

Both newly certified tunes come off his debut album, 'Up All Night,' and the singer says he is hoping to release a successful sophomore record, despite delays.

“[It] is going to be a stronger record,” Moore says. “I love the other stuff I was doing, and I love this new stuff. The other stuff is going to find its way out at some point, but it just might not have fit with what this new record has become.

“I want to get something out, ’cause it’s been a while, but I want it to be the best thing I can do, too,” he adds, “and that’s worth waiting a little bit for.”

Moore kicks off his 2015 tour in Missoula, Mont., on Jan. 27. Check out a list of upcoming dates here.
