Danielle Peck Welcomes Baby Girl

Congratulations to Danielle Peck! The singer and her husband, Josh Smith, welcomed their baby girl into the world on Sunday (Aug. 16) at a hospital in Nashville.

Peck and Smith have named their daughter Ava Jolie. When Peck originally revealed her pregnancy in June, she said that she was due around Sept. 14, her birthday.

"Josh & I got to welcome our precious little Ava into the world on Sunday night ..." Peck shares on her Facebook page, along with two adorable photos of the newborn. "We are both so in love with her and in awe of this beautiful moment!!!"

The singer and her husband eloped last year in an intimate ceremony, while he was on the road in Europe with the Eagles, working in tour production.

“We both were eagerly anticipating getting married to each other,” Peck recalls, “and due to our busy travel schedules, it made the most sense for us to take advantage of this opportunity at a romantic castle in Ireland!”

Still, even with her marriage and brand-new baby, the 36-year-old isn't planning on giving up her music career anytime soon.

“My career is still full steam ahead and is only getting better every day knowing that I’m loved for who I am and completely believed in,” Peck notes.

Peck released a single, “Kiss Me Like You Miss Me,” last year. The song is available for download on iTunes.
