Danielle Peck Is Pregnant

Danielle Peck is having a baby! The singer, who eloped with her longtime boyfriend Josh Smith last year, has revealed that she is pregnant with a little girl.

Peck told CMChat that they have already named their daughter Ava Jolie, and that she is due around Sept. 14, which is Peck's birthday.

Peck and Smith (who is currently on tour with U2, working in production) met at a party and quickly fell in love. They dated for a long time, but the proposal still took Peck by surprise.

“We were talking about how perfect everything has been between us — just like a dream!” Peck recalls of the big moment. “And then he got down on one knee and asked me ‘to make his dream come true,’ and I said yes!”

The two knew right away that they wanted to spend their lives together.

“I knew within the first 24 hours that he was ‘The One,’" Peck says.

Still, the singer is focused on her music career.

“My career is still full steam ahead and is only getting better every day knowing that I’m loved for who I am and completely believed in,” she adds.

Peck released a single, "Kiss Me Like You Miss Me," last year. The song is available for download on iTunes.
