Up and coming country artist Carissa Leigh has released the video for her latest single, 'Bad Boy.'

The video was filmed in Nashville and directed by Kristin Barlowe, who has also worked with Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Martina McBrideLove and Theft and Little Big Town. The single comes off of Leigh's upcoming second EP release.

“We were just talking about relationships,” Carissa says on her website about the single, which was recorded at Nashville's Blackbird Studios. “A girl says she wants a nice guy, but she doesn’t really want a nice guy. Every girl wants to date a bad boy, and all guys want to be the bad boy too!”

Leigh now lives in Nashville, but the Calgary native says that her passion for music began at a young age, when she would split her listening time between her dad's rock and roll collection and her grandfather's country music, helping pave the singer-songwriter's future musical style.

“I want to make an album that sounds like Lynyrd Skynyrd had a baby with Dolly Parton,” Leigh says. “It’s country with a little bit of rock and pop. It’s everything that I love.”

A release date for the EP has not yet been set, but fans can purchase 'Bad Boy,' as well as Leigh's first EP, 'Not the Same Girl,' on Amazon and iTunes.
