Carissa Leigh, ‘Bad Boy’ Video – Exclusive Behind the Scenes

Carissa Leigh is taking readers of The Boot behind the scenes of the making of the music video for her single 'Bad Boy.'

The Calgary native filmed the video in her new hometown of Nashville with Kristin Barlowe, who has also worked with Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Martina McBride, Love and Theft and Little Big Town.

"We really kind of wanted to turn it around on the guys," Leigh says. "Instead of objectifying the women, we're now objectifying the men, and we're making the men sexy and the objects of our affection."

'Bad Boy' comes off of Leigh's second EP release, 'The Blackbird EP,' which was released on April 28 and is available through iTunes.

“I want to make an album that sounds like Lynyrd Skynyrd had a baby with Dolly Parton,” Leigh says. “It’s country with a little bit of rock and pop. It’s everything that I love.”
