Blake Shelton is definitely on a roll! The singer-songwriter has scored his 15th consecutive No. 1 hit with "Sangria," from his 2014 Bringing Back the Sunshine album.

To put it in perspective, every one of Shelton's singles since "Hilbilly Bone" in 2009 has shot straight to No. 1 -- that's every single for six years -- including multi-platinum hits such as "Honey Bee," "God Gave Me You," "Sure Be Cool If You Did" and "Boys 'Round Here."

The Oklahoma native set a new record for consecutive chart-topping hits with his 11th No. 1, "Doin' What She Likes," in April of 2014. Since then, he has released "My Eyes" with Gwen Sebastian, "Neon Light," "Lonely Tonight" with Ashley Monroe and "Sangria."

With lines like “We’re buzzing like that ‘no vacancy’ sign out front / Your skin is begging to be kissed by a little more than the sun / You take my hand in yours, you lean in / And your lips taste like sangria, your lips taste like sangria," Shelton says he knew right away that his newest No. 1 tune, written by J.T. Harding, Josh Osborne and Trevor Rosen, was a hit.

""Sangria" is one of the sexiest songs I’ve ever cut,” Shelton says. “It sounds like something that came from a different time, almost like something Chris Isaak would have had on one of his records at some point. It’s just about one of those nights where you drink too much, and you’re gonna end up hookin’ up with this person, it’s just inevitable. It’s not too over-the-top, but it’s pure sex — that’s the only way I know to describe that song.”

"Sangria" is Shelton's third single from Bringing Back the Sunshine. Purchase the entire album on Amazon or iTunes.
