Initial List of 2011 CMA Awards Performers Announced
This year's CMA Awards ceremony is shaping up to be another star-studded event, with Entertainer of the Year nominees Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, and Jason Aldean already confirmed to perform during the live telecast.
Brad, Keith and Taylor have all nabbed the coveted trophies in past years, but this year's shortlist of country music's premier talent marks the first for both Jason and Blake. Upon hearing the news of his nominations, Blake immediately took to his official Twitter account to express his gratitude. "Wow!!! Five CMA nominations?!!!!! No way ... So this is what it's like to be Miranda Lambert," tweets Miranda's funny man husband.
Reigning Entertainer of the Year Brad Paisley will once again host the biggest night in country music, joining his 'Remind Me' duet partner Carrie Underwood for the fourth consecutive year. Additional performers are expected to be announced soon.
