Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, the reigning CMA Male and Female Vocalists of the Year, will be holding court as the hosts of this year's CMA Awards telecast on Wednesday, November 12. It's the first time either artist will host the star-studded event, which airs live on ABC-TV.

In addition to hosting duties, Paisley and Underwood will also perform on the show, along with previously announced performers Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert, George Strait, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, and Keith Urban. More performers are expected to be announced soon.

"I'm thrilled to have this opportunity to host the Awards show," says Brad, who is nominated for four awards, including Entertainer of the Year. "We're going to have a good time - start to finish."

Carrie, who is once again nominated for Female Vocalist, as well as Album of the Year, adds, "I am so excited to host a show I grew up watching, and am so thrilled to spend this night with the fans and Brad. It's going to be a party!"

Tickets for the 2008 CMA Awards are on sale now and can be purchased by logging on to Ticketmaster; calling (615) 255-9600; or in person at Nashville's Sommet Center box office.
