Zac Brown Band’s ‘Homegrown’ Becomes Country Radio’s Most-Added Song
The Zac Brown Band seem to have another hit on their hands. 'Homegrown,' the debut single from their upcoming, still-untitled new album, was the most-added song on country radio this week.
The song had some stiff competition: Big & Rich's new single, 'Run Away With You,' was the second most-added tune, followed by Keith Urban's duet with Eric Church, 'Raise 'Em Up.'
“We’re all continuing to grow up and get better as musicians, and the chemistry as a band continues to deepen,” Brown explains. “Our boundaries have dissolved, and we’re going to still do things that are somewhat familiar that people like, but we’re also going to stretch out and take chances beyond what we’ve done before. Some people are going to be really surprised.”
ZBB will head to Arizona next week for the first-ever DIRECTV Super Fan Festival, in advance of Super Bowl XLIX. They'll also head to Florida in April for the two-day Tortuga Music Festival. Keep track of all of their upcoming shows here.
