Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard are sharing yet another tune from their upcoming Django and Jimmie album.

The two men, who first released the video for "It's All Going to Pot" on April 20, have switched gears with their new song, "Unfair Weather Friend." In the tune, Nelson and Haggard trade vocals on lines like, "I don't have to wonder where you'll be if I should need you / All I have to do is close my eyes, and I can see / You're always there, right where you've always been / Sometimes this old world is my worst enemy / But I know where to run when it gets to me / No one else but you can make it all make sense / My come whatever unfair weather friend."

"Unfair Weather Friend" is the perfect song to illustrate the country stars' decades-long friendship. The pair first released an album together, Pancho & Lefty, in 1983, followed by Seashores of Old Mexico in 1987. They have wanted to record together again for some time, and when they finally hit the studio, they were both pleased with the end result.

“It’s really good; I think it’s the best one we’ve done,” says Haggard of the record, which pays homage to guitar greats and music pioneers Django Reinhardt and Jimmie Rodgers. “We didn’t really do any swing, per se, we just did straight-ahead songs that we felt good about.”

Django and Jimmie will be released on June 2 on Legacy Recordings, which marks Nelson's sixth release for the label since signing with them in 2012. The album is available for pre-order on Amazon.
