New country artist Wiley Chandler is exclusively premiering "Run With the Night," off of his debut EP, We Both Know the Truth, to readers of The Boot.

The mid-tempo song is ultra romantic, with expressive lyrics that evoke the sense of new-found romance, even amidst the busyness and distractions of our everyday lives: "Some days, this town makes it near impossible to fall in love," Chandler sings. "It shapes us and separates us with walls we can't break through / From the honking horns to the crowded streets, it's like a battlefield all against me / But that all changed the night I met you."

"While writing "Run With the Night," I was trying to capture the essence of the poet Joshua Bennett when he is reciting his piece titled "Chariot,'" Chandler explains on his website. "It paints a beautiful picture of how easy it is to forget that all of the distractions around us might mean so much more when we look at them from a different perspective."

Chandler's debut EP, inspired by his own life experiences, contains six tracks, all written or co-written by the singer and produced by Kenny Lamb (Garth Brooks, the Killers, Bruce Springsteen). The singer-songwriter has opened for some big names, including the Fray, Kings of Leon, James Taylor, Keith Urban, Vince Gill, Ryan Adams, the Avett Brothers and many others.

We Both Know the Truth is available now on iTunes.
