Country artists have a long-standing -- and well deserved -- reputation for their generosity, especially towards those less fortunate. Now, several of the genre's biggest stars are being honored for their altruistic efforts.

VH1 recently announced their nominees for the Do Something Award, which honors artists, specifically for the younger generation, who are committed to social change. In the concert category, all five slots are filled by Nashville artists, who have used their time, talent and resources for the greater good.

The following are the list of nominees in the concert category:

- Music Builds: The CMT Disaster Relief Concert featuring performances by Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson, Trace Adkins, Little Big Town, with proceeds going to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, for victims of storms, floods and tornadoes.

- Oklahoma Disaster Relief concert, co-hosted by Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton, with proceeds benefiting the Tulsa Disaster Relief Fund following Oklahoma's deadly tornadoes.

- Kokua for Japan Benefit Concert, with appearances by Willie Nelson, Jamey Johnson, Michael McDoonald and Mick Fleetwood, with proceeds benefiting the American Red Cross, for victims of the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

- CMT Presents Jimmy Buffett & Friends: Live From the Gulf Coast, hosted by Jimmy Buffett and Kenny Chesney, to raise money for the residents of the Gulf Coast following the tragic oil spill.

- Taylor Swift's Speak Now ... Help Now Dress Rehearsal to Benefit Tornado Victims, which raised more than $750,000 for victims of the deadly storms that in the Southeast.

Other nominees include Eva Longoria, Demi Lovato and AnnaLynne McCord in the TV Star category, Bethany Hamilton and David Beckham in the Athlete category, and Daniel Radcliffe, Olivia Wilde and Orlando Bloom in the Movie Star category.

Each nominee has been given a $10,000 to be used towards the social cause of their choice. The final winner from the list of nominees will be given a $100,000 grant during the ceremony, which will be held on August 14.
