Trace Adkins will return as host of the second annual American Country Awards, sharing hosting duties with Emmy- and Tony-winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth. The star-studded show is set to air live from Las Vegas on Monday, December 5 at 8:00 PM ET on FOX.

The ACAs are the only country music awards show offering fans the chance to vote for their favorite artists not only in traditional categories but also in previously unrecognized areas of the business such as touring, encompassing the entire spectrum of country music and bestowing honors unlike any other awards show. Nominees, performers and presenters for the 2011 ceremony will be announced in the coming weeks.

Carrie Underwood took top honors at last year's show as Artist of the Year. She earned six awards overall. Lady Antebellum took home four awards, while Easton Corbin won three, including ACA Breakthrough Artist of the Year. The winners were given custom-made Fender guitars in lieu of traditional trophies.

Trace's 'Proud to Be Here' album was released earlier this week and Kristin's country disc, 'Some Lessons Learned' will be available September 13.
