Toby Keith Tackles Stunts and Nudity in New Movie

Toby Keith doesn't need a stunt man . . . or a body double.

In his new movie, 'Beer For My Horses,' the country superstar says he performed most of his own stunts. There was, however, one scene that called for his character to jump onto the back of a moving truck. That turned out to be a scene that both Keith and a paid stunt man had to tackle.

"He actually fell off before he was supposed to -- he got slung off," Keith tells Dial-Global of the stunt man during the taping of the action scene. "He hit the ground, and I think the thing ran over him. So I ended up having to do the real tumble . . . So when you see the guy come flying off of the truck in the movie, that really was me."

Keith took all sorts of risks filming the movie, including appearing partially nude. But that was a scene that made the cutting room floor, in order to keep the movie's rating at PG-13. So will we see some skin in a future Toby Keith movie?

"If that was in the [script] and I was gonna commit to that, I'd do it," answers Keith. "But how far can you go in 'R'? If you show everything, it turns into a porno. If you just go as far as they go in 'R' movies, then you've gotta either commit to that or you don't . . . You probably ain't got nothin' to worry about though. They don't do that in comedies, and I think that that's our forte here."

'Beer For My Horses' hits theaters on August 8.
