Toby Keith Goes Off on ‘Punk’ Fan
Don't mess with Toby Keith. One rowdy concertgoer in Pikeville, Ky. found that out the hard way on Saturday.
TMZ reports that the out-of-control fan gave Keith the finger and then threw a beer on stage in the middle of the country superstar's performance. Visibly incensed, Keith jumped off the stage and confronted the guy, calling him a "punk ass mother f---er." The man quickly backed down and was escorted from the concert by security.
"He came right down front, took a beer and threw it right on the stage, flipped me the bird ... and went out cussing me the whole way," Keith announced to the rest of the concertgoers, explaining what had just happened. "I'm sorry to act like that. I've never acted like that before."
No arrests were made, and the show continued without any further problems.
