Toby Keith raised a whopping $650,000 with his 8th annual Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic, with proceeds going directly toward the construction of the OK Kids Korral.

The 'Denim & Diamonds'-themed event hosted a sold-out crowd, with 750 people attending the dinner and auction. The most coveted auction item was a personal dinner with Toby himself, which netted $52,000. Two generous bidders shelled out the small fortune to dine with the 'Somewhere Else' singer. More than 100 items were auctioned off, with nothing from the live auction going for less than $7,000.

Concerning the construction of the OK Kids Korral, Toby comments, "It's slow gears turning, but it's going to be something that Oklahoma City can be really proud of when we're done with it."

The OK Kids Korral will be located at the OU Medical Center Children's Hospital, and will act as a refuge for cancer patients and families living and coping with the treatment process. Toby's involvement with pediatric cancer began after the death of Allison Webb, daughter of the country star's close friend and original bandmate, Scott Webb. Ally died of cancer in August 2003, one month short of her third birthday. Following her death, Toby established Ally's House and has focused his efforts on creating cost-free lodging for family members traveling with cancer patients during treatment.
