Tim McGraw latest tour is quite a special one. The singer will perform a free concert for members of the military and their families as he headlines the all-day event, Tour for the Troops, to be held at California's Camp Pendleton on Sunday, Nov. 13. Several other activities for people of all ages will take place as part of the Family Fun Day.

"I am proud to perform for the troops and to celebrate our heroes, bringing attention to the need to improve quality of life among men and women who serve our country," says Tim.

The event, which is being held courtesy of the Air Force Reserve, will work in conjunction with the Tug McGraw Foundation to help educate both servicemembers and civilians about the dangers of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, as well as what resources are available for those affected by the disorder.

The Tour for the Troops concert will occur only a few weeks before the 'Live Like You Were Dying' singer heads to court to begin solving the contract dispute with his label, Curb Records. But the multi-platinum-selling singer is optimistic things will go his way.

"Right now it's just a matter of letting the legal system handle this," Tim notes. "All I can do is keep doing what I do. I've always been a good, honest guy and done the work the way it needed to be done and fulfilled whatever I've been obligated to do. All you can do is hope our good faith pays off in the end."

Tour for the Troops is open to the general public. Tickets are free for all military personnel, or can be purchased for $55 beginning Friday, Oct. 14 by clicking here.
