Tim McGraw, ‘Nashville Without You’ Video

Can you count how many classic country songs are namechecked in Tim McGraw's new hit, "Nashville Without You"? The superstar pays tribute to the musical greats who came before him in the tune, which also puts the spotlight on his adopted hometown. So it's only fitting that the new video accompanying the song show some of the most beautiful parts of downtown Music City, where country music history has been made time and time again. The clip also features Tim and his band in the studio, presumably making his latest chart-topping album, Two Lanes of Freedom, along with clips of him performing live.

The retrospective aspect of "Nashville Without You" complements what Tim calls the "360 feel" of Two Lanes of Freedom. "You can look back and see where I reflected on some of the things that I've done in my career, some of the sounds, some of the themes," he explains to The Boot. "But it also sort of looks like another door going to where I'm headed. I don't know if I could put my finger on it and say I'm definitely headed in this direction or these are the kind of songs that I want to do, but I feel sonically that there's a freshness to this record and there's sort of a drive behind it that is new to me and headed in a different place."
