Tim McGrawWhile he celebrates his current movie's No. 1 status at the box office, Tim McGraw is looking ahead to his next feature film. 'The Blind Side' star will next be seen in 'Love Won't Let Me Down,' alongside Gwyneth Paltrow. Tim has kept quiet on much of the movie's storyline, but did reveal the roles of the two leads.

"I can say that she [Gwyneth] plays a country music singer, and I don't," Tim tells Nashville's Tennessean newspaper. "She can sing, and it's a pretty heavy story. I play her husband and her manager."

'Love Won't Let Me Down' will begin production in January, with most of the film shot in Tennessee. It also stars Leighton Meester and Garrett Hedlund, who played Tim's son in the first movie that put the country star on the Hollywood map, 'Friday Night Lights.'

Tim may be used to topping the charts in music, but he admits it's a much different feeling to be part of a No.1 movie. "It feels good," he says. "You do these movies because you read the script and you like it, but you never really know how it's going to turn out. Then you go shoot it, and it's hard to get a feel while you're shooting the movie of what it's like. It makes you nervous because when you're done, it's not like your album where you can go in and mix it and do all the little tweaks you want to do. You can't do anything. You just give your permission to use your performance and go away. And, they have so many takes of everything you do and you don't have any choice of which take they use. You just have to let them go, so you never know how it's going to turn out."

It's probably safe to guess Tim is happy with the way 'The Blind Side' turned out. Not only did the movie's cast enjoy being No. 1, they also beat out one of the most anticipated blockbusters of all time, 'New Moon,' from the 'Twilight' series, to take the box office lead. "I thought it was pretty good because parents taking their kids to see 'Twilight,' they got something they could go see instead," Tim says. "I think that's probably from a parent's perspective. But I don't think anybody ever expected us to beat 'New Moon.'"

In addition to expanding his role as a movie star -- which he hopes will include a role in an action film someday, Tim is already back in the studio working on his follow up to his new album, 'Southern Voice.'
