Tim McGraw to Perform on Grammy Christmas Special

Tim McGraw is part of a star-studded Christmas special to help usher in the holiday season. The tunesmith will perform with Ariana Grande, Maroon 5 and Pharrell Williams for the brand-new 'A Very Grammy Christmas' one-hour TV special.

The show will feature the artists performing classic Christmas carols and sharing their own favorite memories of the holiday season. More performers are expected to be announced in the near future.

In addition, the celebrities will each explain what a Grammy nomination means to them. McGraw has received a total of three Grammy Awards, including two with his wife, Faith Hill. He was nominated for two Grammys this year, for Best Country Album for 'Two Lanes of Freedom,' and for 'Highway Don't Care,' along with Keith Urban and Taylor Swift.

To add to the excitement of the evening, nominations for the Album of the Year category for the 57th Annual Grammy Awards will be announced during the broadcast. The remainder of the nominations will be announced the morning of Dec. 5.

'A Very Grammy Christmas' will tape on Nov. 18 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and will air on Dec. 5 at 9PM ET on CBS. Tickets are available here.
