Margo Price, Vince Gill and a host of other musicians will honor the legacy of the Band's  iconic Thanksgiving 1976 farewell concert at San Francisco's Winterland Ballroom -- dubbed the Last Waltz -- with a big event in Nashville. The Last Waltz Nashville: An All-Star Celebration of the Band's Historic Farewell Concert is set for Nov. 23 at Bridgestone Arena.

In addition to Price and Gill, Darius Rucker, Michael McDonald, Emmylou Harris, Nathaniel Rateliff, Warren Haynes, Jamey Johnson, Lukas Nelson, Don Was, John Medeski, Cyril Neville, Dave Malone, Bob Margolin, Terence Higgins and Mark Mullins & the Levee Horns will all be part of The Last Waltz Nashville. The event will also feature a special appearance by the Band lead guitarist, songwriter and founding member Robbie Robertson.

“It is such an honor that the musical celebration of The Last Waltz and the Band carries on today," says Robertson in a statement. Adds Keith Wortman, the founder of Blackbird Presents, which is organizing The Last Waltz Nashville, adds, "These songs are so deeply entrenched in our hearts that they have become a part of who we are as humans."

Tickets for The Last Waltz Nashville will go on sale on Oct. 12 at 10AM CT, with a pre-sale for Citi cardholders beginning on Tuesday (Oct. 8) at 10AM CT. VIP packages will also be available. A portion of proceeds for the event will benefit Farm Aid and Nashville's Thistle Farms, and attendees are also encouraged to donate to Second Harvest. Visit TheLastWaltz.com for more details.

The Last Waltz Nashville is an extension of The Last Waltz Tour 2019: A Celebration of the Band's Historic Farewell Concert, which features Johnson, Nelson, Haynes, Was and more and is scheduled to run Nov. 5-21. Previously, Blackbird Presents has organized a The Last Waltz 40th anniversary tour in 2017 and a two-night The Last Waltz event in New Orleans, La., in 2016.
