In perhaps one of the most bizarre celebrity crossings ever, Taylor Swift has earned a new fan -- heavy metal rock star Ozzy Osbourne.

The former lead singer of Black Sabbath ran into the country star while shopping in Los Angeles last weekend, and was immediately impressed by the 23-year-old.

”My husband doesn’t say anything about anyone — he knows who Taylor Swift is, he knows her music, but he’s never met her before, and he was so blown away with her beauty and the aura that she projects,” Osbourne's wife, Sharon Osbourne, shared on her talk show 'The Talk' (quote via Taste of Country).

The 64-year-old was impressed by Swift's poise and charisma. “He said to me, ‘I have finally met somebody that I can say is a true superstar.’ He said, ‘She reminds me of Grace Kelly or Audrey Hepburn,’” Osbourne recalls.

“He called her the most magnificent young girl he’s met in his lifetime," she adds. "He was so blown away by her."

Perhaps the rocker will have a chance to watch Swift to perform on her current Red tour. After spending two weeks in Australia in December, Swift will head to Osbourne's native England next year, to perform four shows at the famed O2 Arena in London. See all of Swift's upcoming shows here.
