Taylor Swift reveals a couple of details about her upcoming album, the follow-up to her multi-platinum 'Fearless,' in the May issue of Vogue magazine, featuring pictures taken by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz. In the article, titled 'The Dazzler,' the superstar not only talks about the direction her next album is taking, but her new adult digs in Nashville and the reason she wears sparkly dresses.

Taylor's new album arrives in stores this fall, and like her previous albums, the songs will detail her personal experiences. However, this time, her experiences are about being an adult, not a teenage girl. "I don't think I could put on a new character for two years of my life if it wasn't really what i was going through," the 20-year-old tells Vogue. "I have these formulas for making music. They're almost mathematical: Who are you today? What did you write about in your diary? What idea hit you at 4:00 AM?"

Not only is new music on tap for the singer-songwriter, but a new home is also on the horizon. After finishing renovations on her place in Nashville, she will move out of her parents' Hendersonville home. Some reports suggest the new digs are huge, but the superstar disagrees. "It's not giant. I didn't want to have to MapQuest to get to the kitchen."

One thing is certain, Taylor will definitely keep wearing her little sparkly dresses on stage. "I just love them," she gushes. "I think it's kind of fun when the spotlight hits you and your dress for a millisecond, blinds people."

Taylor will be sparkling on stage when her Fearless tour hits the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Thursday (April 15) for the first of two shows.
