Taylor swiftTaylor Swift has one more award to add to her packed trophy case. The Grammy winner has been named Artist of the Year by the prestigious National Association of Recording Merchandisers (NARM).

"We are thrilled to welcome Taylor back to NARM," says President Jim Donio. "And we are especially proud to recognize her extraordinary creative and commercial achievements with our Artist of the Year Award. She has made a brilliant and stellar contribution to the music industry in just a few years and we congratulate her on this much-deserved honor."

She will be joined by Melissa Etheridge, who is taking home the Harry Chapin Memorial Humanitarian Award, as well as songwriting duo Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, recipients of the Outstanding Achievement Award for Music Collaboration, honoring their long list of iconic hits, including Elvis Presley's 'Hound Dog, 'Jailhouse Rock' and The Coasters' 'Yakety Yak.'

Other artists who have taken home the Artist of the Year Award include Whitney Houston, Josh Groban, 'N SYNC and Mariah Carey. The reigning Entertainer of the Year, whose worldwide Fearless tour wraps up April 1, is nominated for four ACM Awards next month.
