Taylor Swift Makes Impromptu ‘Idol’ Visit

Taylor Swift has some new famous friends, thanks to a last-minute invitation to attend a live 'American Idol' show. Swift writes on her MySpace page that she was at a Beverly Hills mall with her mom when she spotted 'Idol' finalist Kristy Lee Cook. Swift says Cook came up and introduced herself.

"She was so sweet," Swift writes of Cook. "She invited me to come watch 'American Idol' the next night! Sure enough, my schedule ended up freeing up and I got to go.''

Swift goes onto write that she got to hang out with the 'Idol' finalists after the show. But no mention of who she's rooting for.
