Taylor Swift invited one of country music's hottest stars to join her onstage at the first night of her Nashville run on Thursday night (Sept. 19).

“So, you must have known that I wasn't going to show up here without a surprise for you,” Swift said by way of introduction. “And it’s a really, really good one. I think you’re really going to like it, since this an artist everyone really, really likes.”

With that, Luke Bryan came out to join Swift for a joint rendition of his mega-hit, 'I Don't Want This Night to End.' Swift toyed with Bryan, posing suggestively at some of his lyrics, then sang the chorus with him before taking a verse of her own. Bryan wrapped it up with some impromptu lyrics about Swift and the Red Tour.

Swift later revealed that Bryan had flown across the country on his day off specifically for the appearance. She shared her excitement about the show afterward on Twitter.

Thursday night kicked off a three-night stand for Swift at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, where she will wrap up her tour on Saturday night (Sept. 21).
