There was something for every country music fan in attendance at Nashville's LP Field Sunday (June 13) for the last show of the CMA Music Festival. Taylor Swift closed the event's 40th year festivities along with Darius Rucker and newlyweds Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton.

Edens Edge opened the evening with their rendition of the national anthem, followed by a short set from the JaneDear girls. The duo played their debut single, 'Wildflower,' and their current tune 'Shotgun Girl,' as well as revved up version of Charlie Daniels' 'Devil Went Down to Georgia.' Jimmy Wayne was up next with a three song set. He started with 'Stay Gone,' before launching into 'Sara Smile' and his No. 1 hit 'Do You Believe Me Now.'

The Band Perry entered the stage to a pre-recorded introduction, which ended with the trio declaring that they "play country music." The siblings started with their tune 'Double Heart,' followed by their debut single, 'Hip to My Heart.' The audience sang back the words to the group's No. 1 hit, 'If I Die Young,' and their recent Top 5, 'You Lie.'

The Eli Young Band followed with an acoustic performance of 'Always the Love Songs.' The group's frontman, Mike Eli, revealed that playing the show was a "dream come true," before launching into 'Crazy Girl.'

Darius Rucker proved that everything was 'Alright,' and that the last thing he needs is a 'Come Back Song' when he took the stage. He acknowledged that there were three reasons that he was there: "Capitol Records is a great label and they gave me a chance," he said. "Country radio played my songs, and you guys actually listened to it." Then, his new single 'I Got Nothin'" received a warm welcome. "Let's turn it up a notch," Darius announced before singing Hootie & the Blowfish's 'I Only Want to Be With You.' And the crowd answered back in all the right places for the South Carolina native's cover of Hank Williams, Jr.'s 'Family Tradition.'

Making his 20th appearance at the festival, Tracy Lawrence sang 'Time Marches On.' He then debuted his latest single, 'Singer,' followed by his No. 1 'Find Out Who Your Friends Are.'

Blake Shelton started his set with the appropriate 'All About Tonight,' during which he kissed his guitar player. Miranda's hubby then took a moment to address "what's wrong" with him. He answered the wildly pondered question with a medley of songs he heard growing up. The first was Wild Cherry's 'Play That Funky Music,' which he attributed to his parents, into the J. Geils Band's 'Centerfold,' a tune that confirmed that Blake's brother "really loved women," finishing with Bobby Brown's 'My Prerogative,' a track that after hearing it blare from his sister's room made Blake decide he wanted to be a country singer.

To even the playing field, the Oklahoma native switched gears and went into his redneck anthem, 'Kiss My Country Ass.' He slowed it down briefly after that with 'Who Are You When I'm Not Looking,' before turning up the tempo with his latest release, 'Honey Bee.' He ended his set by bringing out Trace Adkins for their hit, 'Hillbilly Bone.'

"This next singer is a country music innovator," Blake told the crowd as he introduced the night's next act. "She is going to melt your face off. What else can I say about her? ... She's also my wife!"

With that, Miranda Lambert brought the audience to their feet with 'Kerosene.' They stayed there for 'Only Prettier' and 'Heart Like Mine,' which Miranda learned hit the top spot on the charts the day she wed Mr. Shelton. She got the biggest laugh of the night when she asked, "Is it just me for do those beach balls irritate the hell out of other people?" To appease the songstress, the balls disappeared for her next song, 'The House That Built Me.'

Next, the Texas girl was joined by Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley for the Pistol Annie's debut CMA performance with their new song, 'Hell on Heels.' After the song, Miranda flew solo again with 'White Liar' and 'Gunpowder and Lead.'

Not too long after, the squeals began and Taylor Swift made 'Sparks Fly.' "I'm Taylor," she told the crowd once the song was over. The singer-songwriter flew through tunes including 'Story of Us,' 'Our Song' and 'Mean,' while her devoted fans sang back every word. They got closer to the 21-year-old when she left the stage and ran to the back of the stadium to a waiting stage.

There, she picked up a ukulele, "the happiest sounding instrument ever," for an "incredibly happy song," 'Fearless.' She invited everyone to sing along again for 'You Belong With Me,' before closing the show with 'Love Story.'
