Taylor Swift and Kid Rock Honor Veterans

Taylor Swift and Kid Rock will perform at a special concert honoring American veterans. 'A Night for Vets: An MTV Concert for the BRAVE' will be taped before a crowd of veterans and their families, and is set to air October 24 at 8 PM ET on MTV. Other performers include 50 Cent, Ludacris, Kanye West, Fall Out Boy and Nelly.

Wednesday's announcement of the joint MTV-CNN special coincided with the formation of a new bill in Congress called BRAVE: the Bill of Rights for American Veterans, which aims to boost non-partisan government support of veterans' issues.
