Here’s a Playlist to Get You Ready for Summer 2018’s Country Music Festivals
Country fans know summertime is festival season. Starting as early as April, the year's warmest months are filled with opportunities to see a whole bunch of live music on a mountainside, in the middle of the desert, on a beach, on a city pier ... and well, pretty much anywhere you can imagine.
In early April, country music fans will flock to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., for Tortuga, an annual music festival that, in 2018, will be headlined by Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban, Eric Church and ... Snoop Dogg? And at the end of the month, it's time to head out to the West Coast -- Indio, Calif., to be exact -- for Stagecoach. FGL and Urban will be there, too, as will Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, not to mention a stellar set of undercard acts.
It's June when the country music festival calendar really gets crowded, though: Two of our favorite fests -- the Taste of Country Music Festival in Hunter, N.Y., and Country Jam in Grand Junction, Colo. -- run back to back that month, not to mention Headwaters Country Jam in Three Forks, Mont. FGL, Sam Hunt, Church, Miranda Lambert, Brantley Gilbert, Brett Eldredge and many, many more will be treating country fans to nights (and days!) full of music at those festivals.
Even if summer's winding down by late August, the country fests aren't: Fans can hit up WE Fest, Boots and Hearts, Watershed and more than month. No matter where you're located, there's an option not too far away ...
Or you can pop on your headphones, press play on this playlist and daydream about partying in the sun with your friends. Featuring almost four hours of music, The Boot's Festival Season 2018 playlist includes tracks from the acts you'll find on the bills of this year's country music festivals.
