Steve Wariner's latest album, 'It Ain't All Bad,' is earning him plenty of good publicity. The singer appeared on the nationally syndicated television program 'The Better Show' on Friday, Dec. 6 to perform the song 'Arrows at Airplanes' from the new record.

'It Ain't All Bad,' which was released on Wariner's own SelecTone Records, is the first album of new tunes the 58-year-old has released since 2005's 'This Real Life.' The result is an eclectic collection of songs that showcases his wide diversity, both as a singer and a songwriter.

"It’s pretty all over the map, more so than anything I’ve ever done. I think that’s just because of that eight-year period," he tells The Boot.

"I think my goal really was just to get great players, go into the studio and try to cut these songs as great as we could do it, and try to interpret these songs and get across the meaning of them."

While in New York City to appear on 'The Better Show,' Wariner also spoke about songwriting with students at New York University's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music.

Wariner plans on hitting the road in 2014 to perform songs from 'It Ain't All Bad.' Lyric videos for all 12 of the songs on the new album can be viewed here.
