Let the countdown to June -- and the 2017 Taste of Country Music Festival -- begin! Sam Hunt has just been announced as a headliner for the fifth annual event, held in Hunter, N.Y.

The 2017 Taste of Country Music Festival is set for June 9-11, in New York State's beautiful Catskill Mountains, at Hunter Mountain. Hunt is the festival's second 2017 headliner to be revealed; he joins ACM Awards Entertainer of the Year Jason Aldean at the top of the lineup ... and lots more performers will be announced in the coming months.

"We're tremendously excited to add Sam Hunt to our lineup, joining our previously announced headliner Jason Aldean," says ToC Fest organizer Dhruv Prasad. "Sam's latest single "Make You Miss Me" has just hit No. 1, and it's his fourth single to reach this milestone from his platinum debut album. It's the perfect time to bring him to ToC Festival to light up our stage -- it's going to be a great show!"

In 2016, the Taste of Country Music Festival brought in over 50,000 fans and featured performances from Kenny ChesneyKid RockJake OwenGary Allan, Big & RichFrankie BallardEric PaslayOld DominionNeal McCoy, the Swon Brothers, the Cadillac ThreeJana Kramer and Chris Janson. Next year's fest will have a lot to live up to ... but the addition of Hunt is a pretty awesome move!
