Ryan Adams will warm up for his Aug. 4 appearance at Lollapalooza with two weeks of touring beginning July 20 in Sayreville, N.J. Adams, who has been lying uncharacteristically low of late, is already scheduled to share a bill with Willie Nelson Sept. 10 at the Hollywood Bowl.

The restless singer also takes part in tomorrow night's benefit for Arthur Lee, the ailing founder of '60s freak-pop band Love, at the Beacon Theatre in New York. Other Love fanatics scheduled to perform include Yo La Tengo, Flashy Python and the Body Snatchers (the side project of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah's Alec Ounsworth), and headliner Robert Plant.

Following the benefit set, Adams and his latest band, the Cardinals, will play a semi-secret, sold-out late show at the Bowery Ballroom billed as Cold Roses, Inc.
