Roger Miller and Mary MillerRoger Miller's widow, Mary Miller, has won a legal battle over the copyrights to some of her late husband's most beloved music. Back in 2004, Mary sued Sony/ATV Publishing in Nashville for the rights to the songs 'Dang Me,' 'Chug-A-Lug,' 'You Can't Roller Skate in a Buffalo Herd' and his biggest career hit, 'King of the Road.'

According to the Associated Press, U.S. District Judge William J. Haynes ruled last week that copyright ownership of all of Roger's songs published in 1964 will go to Mary Miller and Roger Miller Music Inc. The judge also awarded them a little more than $900,000 for royalties lost over the years.

Roger Miller died in 1992 at the age of 56 after a long battle with cancer.
