Rebecca Loebe, ‘Forever Young Forever’ Lyric Video [Exclusive Premiere]
Former The Voice contestant Rebecca Loebe is debuting the lyric video for her new song “Forever Young Forever” exclusively for readers of The Boot.
“Forever Young Forever,” Loebe tells The Boot, was her initial spark of inspiration for her upcoming fourth full-length studio album, Blink. The song was inspired by a sudden burst of nostalgia, brought on by a tune she heard in the car.
"On my way home from a gig one night, a song that I'd included on a bunch of mixtapes in high school came on the radio, and suddenly I was transported back in time to the summer I was 17,” Loebe recalls. “By the time I got home, I had written "Forever Young Forever," and the rest of the songs [for Blink] started spilling out from there.”

Virginia born and Georgia raised, Loebe appeared on The Voice back in 2011; her performance of Nirvana’s “Come as You Are” during blind auditions earned her a spot on Adam Levine's team (although she was eliminated during the Battle Round), and a Top 10 iTunes single in the U.S., Canada, Europe and South America. In August of 2016, Loebe released a "surprise" EP of acoustic songs, Vittles & Valentines; Blink is set for release on Feb. 3.
Currently, Loebe is touring across the country. Upcoming stops include shows in Texas, Oklahoma and North Carolina, among others, as well as a date at Nashville’s iconic Bluebird Cafe. Blink is available for pre-order on iTunes.
