Rascal Flatts' Jay DeMarcus, Gary LeVox and Joe Don Rooney launched their highly-anticipated Flatts Fest on Saturday (June 18 in Bristow, Va.). In addition to giving fans the high energy show they've come to expect from the supergroup, fans can expect an afternoon of interactive activities, along with opportunities to set up their own tailgating experience. Those who hit the venues early enough can enjoy mobile karaoke, a skate park, carnival games, a special animated game featuring life-size avatars of the group members, photo booths, putt-putt golf, food vendors, and numerous contests. There is also a Why Wait Wedding Chapel, named after the trio's recent No. 1 hit.

"Yes, you can get married at a Flatts show, which is pretty cool," Jay tells The Boot, adding, "You can walk down that 'broken road,' and after you're married, you can come back to the next show ant get an annulment in the 'I'm Movin' On' tent." (Of course, he's kidding. Any couple getting hitched at a Rascal Flatts show is bound to have a long and happy marriage, right?)

Jay explains that the got their idea for the Flatts Fest from when they toured with Brooks & Dunn's Neon Circus. "It was such a cool concept to have that Neon Circus atmosphere, with things for everybody to do with their families, and we wanted to expand on that a little bit," he says. "We sat down last year at the end of our tour and talked about different things we could do to make our tour a bigger event. We're excited; we've never done anything like this before. Plus there are a lot of cool acts out with us, and I'm excited to see who wins the karaoke contest every night."

"We've been planning the whole thing for about six or seven months," Gary adds. "There is mobile karaoke, and they will pick the winners and at the end of the tour we'll do something special, maybe let them open a show for us or cut some sides. Everybody knows that I am a bow hunter, so we'll have an NRA booth set up and archery competitions during the festival."

Flatts Fest features opening acts Sara Evans, Easton Corbin and Justin Moore. The 24 show tour will run through September.
