For the second time in about two weeks, Randy Travis has made a public appearance at Billy Bob's in Fort Worth, Texas.

Travis was a VIP spectator at a Sunday night (Dec. 7) concert at the venue, hosted by Dallas radio station 99.5 the Wolf. Billy Bob's shared a photo of Travis with station staff on its Facebook page.

On Nov. 22, Travis was at Billy Bob's for a concert by Joe Nichols, one of only a few times the country legend has been seen in public since his July 2013 stroke, due to complications from congestive heart failure.

Hopefully, these two appearances in relatively quick succession are a sign of good things for Travis' recovery. Although Travis is still unable to sing or speak, his fiancee, Mary Davis, recently revealed that he can still play guitar and is learning to write again, and she says he's in good spirits.

“He wakes up with a smile on his face; he goes to bed with a smile on his face. He inspires me daily,” she notes. “There’s never that, ‘Why me Lord?’ It’s always, ‘Why not me, Lord?’”

Travis’ latest album, ‘Influence Vol. 2: The Man I Am,’ is available for purchase here.
