British singer-songwriter Philippa Hanna is premiering the music video for her newest single, "Getting on With Life," exclusively with The Boot. Readers can press play above to watch the clip.

"Getting on With Life" is a musical embodiment of the saying about being kind because everyone is fighting some sort of battle, and the song's accompanying music video follows that same narrative. Hanna was inspired to write the track during a trying time in her own life.

“During the time my Dad was going through chemotherapy, I realized my patience was pretty short," Hanna tells The Boot. "When a stranger pushed past me in town so forcefully it knocked me sideways, I almost called at her her in anger. But in a truly a defining moment for me I realized ... she might be going through something similar to me. That shift in perspective gave me the inspiration for "Getting on With Life.”"

"Getting on With Life" is the newest single from Hanna's Come Back Fighting album, which landed at the top of the UK's OCC Christian & Gospel Albums chart and at No. 1 on the UK iTunes Country Chart. It was released in November and is available for download on iTunes.

Since launching her career in the mid-2000s, Hanna has toured in more the 25 countries; in 2017 alone, she played more than 100 shows. When she's not on the road, Hanna splits her time between Nashville and the UK.
