O&O, ‘Some Days’ Music Video [Exclusive Premiere]
UK-based Americana duo O&O are premiering the music video for their new song "Some Days" exclusively for readers of The Boot. Press play above to watch.
The inspiration for "Some Days" came when O&O -- Obadiah Jones and Orian Peled -- left their current home of London, England, for a month-long stay in Nashville, Tenn. During their time in Music City, the duo performed at some of the city's most beloved venues, including the Bluebird Cafe. When they returned back to Liverpool, the city in which they originally met, the lyrics started flowing.
"Being a couple, as well as musical partners, of course inspires many love songs," the duo says. "In this case, it's a song about the more challenging moments in a relationship. "Some Days" was recorded over three intense days, and the lyrics were being tweaked right up until we recorded the vocals."
Comprised of Colorado-born vocalist Jones and Israel native Peled, O&O first formed while the two were studying at Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts. After writing and working together for three years, the duo eventually scored a coveted opportunity to write with McCartney one-on-one. After school, they spent two years traveling the world as performers on cruise ships.
"Some Days" is O&O's second single; it follows the band's debut, "Traveling." Fans can visit OAndODuo.com to learn more about them.
