The 2018 CMA Awards will take place on Nov. 14, but before the all-star party at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena for the 52nd annual event, The Boot wants to know who our readers think will go home with the awards in each of the show's 12 categories. We've rounded up the details on all of the nominees, from Musician of the Year to Entertainer of the Year, and we want your input.

In 2017, the competition for New Artist of the Year was stiff. The same names are back in 2018 as nominees, minus Jon Pardi, who took home the trophy last year, and Old Dominion, who have a nod this year for Vocal Group of the Year. Those two spots have been filled with acts that are strong contenders to take home the award for 2018.

Lauren Alaina is in the running for New Artist of the Year once again, after a big year of successes thanks to her 2017 album Road Less Traveled. The hits just keep coming from Luke Combs, too, who is another returning name in the nominee lineup, and is also in the running for Male Vocalist of the Year in 2018. Chris Janson is a new name in the New Artist category this year, but he's also nominated for Song of the Year and Music Video of the Year, both for his poignant hit "Drunk Girl."

It's the first New Artist of the Year nomination for Midland, but they're also in the running for Single of the Year, for their song "Drinkin' Problem," and Vocal Group of the Year. Lastly, Brett Young returns to this category's lineup in 2018 with a series of hits behind him: His last three singles, including "Mercy," all hit No. 1 on the charts.

Who do you think should win New Artist of the Year at the 2018 CMA Awards? Vote in the poll below through the end of the day on Nov. 11. The Boot will use the answers in our readers vs. staff predictions a few days prior to the ceremony.

The 2018 CMA Awards will air live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 14. The show is scheduled to begin at 8PM ET on ABC, with Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood returning as co-hosts for an 11th year.
