Just in time for long, lazy days floating on the river, singer-songwriter Nate Botsford is premiering his brand-new song "Luxury Float" exclusively for readers of The Boot. Press play below for a listen to the laid-back tune that's best enjoyed out on the water with a beer in hand.

Botsford describes "Luxury Float," which he co-wrote with Justin Klump and Cary Samsel, as a "summer anthem about living your best life while floating on the river" -- even if you have to improvise to find the perfect water-ready vessel. "Ray Bans, sunscreen and koozie in row / Six pack of cold beer, cooler in tow / Baby, don't you worry, I'm a pro," Botsford sings. "You've got your pontoons, jet skis, motorboats / I'm over here on my luxury float."

"It’s about being happy with what you have, being present in the moment," Botsford adds, "and a tricked-out queen-sized air mattress."

A rising star from Portland, Ore., Botsford counts Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan and his Big Band pianist grandfather among his influences. Over the past several years, Botsford has toured across the country, sharing the stage with acts including Old Dominion, LoCash and Brett Young, along with recording songs with members of Lonestar and Needtobreathe.

"Luxury Float" is due out on Friday (July 5). Ahead of its release, fans can pre-save the song on Spotify and learn more about Botsford at NateBotsfordMusic.com.
