Miranda Lambert could play Nashville's biggest venue if she wanted to, but she seems to have an affinity for Music City's smaller spots. The country star surprised her fans with the announcement of an unplugged show at City Winery shortly before putting tickets on sale -- and the event sold out within minutes.

Shortly before noon CT on Wednesday (Jan. 6), Lambert shared the above flier on her social media accounts, advertising an unplugged Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars show on Jan. 20, featuring herself, Ashley Monroe, Shane McAnally and Nicolle Galyon. After tickets went on sale at noon, they sold out in seven minutes, according to the Tennessean.

The show -- an extension of Lambert's all-female 2015 Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour -- will benefit the Miranda Lambert Women Creators Scholarship at Belmont University, which provides scholarship funds to female students pursuing the goal of being in the music industry.

Before launching her Certified Platinum Tour in early 2015, Lambert played a similarly small club show, at Nashville's Exit/In, which she announced mere hours before taking the stage. In late July, she performed another small acoustic show, at the city's 3rd and Lindsley.
