Miranda Lambert performed a surprise club show in Chicago on Thursday night (June 4), and her setlist included a cover of No Doubt's "Spiderwebs."

The singer's band and crew have their own band, Permnent Damage, and before Lambert's concerts, they'll sometimes show up in town early and play at a local bar. So, before Lambert joined Kenny Chesney's 2015 The Big Revival Tour on Saturday (June 6) at Solider Field, Permnent Damage set up at Chicago's Joe's Bar.

"We just got to Joe's Bar in Chicago! My band/crew have a band of their own. Come see Permnent Damage at Joe's at 8pm!" Lambert announced on social media.

Lambert was just hanging out and watching the show for most of the evening, but she joined Permnant Damage for a couple of songs, "Spiderwebs" among them. And although No Doubt's lead singer Gwen Stefani wasn't present, another Gwen was -- Gwen Sebastian, who headed on stage with Lambert.

"@gwensebastianand me are rehearsing for the Permnent Damage show tonight at Joes Bar," Lambert shared earlier in the evening, hinting that she wouldn't just be an audience member at the show. "‘Bang Bang Bang on the door baby … Knock a little louder sugar’ … #we’rewiththeband."

Permnant Damage's set wasn't a quick in-and-out performance, either. It lasted three hours and was attended by approximately 700 fans who heard covers of the Violent Femmes' “Blister in the Sun,” Dire Straits’ “Money for Nothing,” Brooks & Dunn’s “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” and AC/DC's “Have a Drink on Me." In addition to "Spiderwebs," Lambert and Sebastian also sang the B-52s' "Love Shack."

Lambert is currently on the road, playing plenty of dates this summer, and will be reprising her Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour this fall.
