Miranda Lambert may be cheering for her husband, Blake Shelton, during Wednesday night's CMA Awards show but she's proud of the nominations she's received as well, even if she's not as hopeful about her chances. The Texas songstress is up for two nods, Female Vocalist and Music Event with Sheryl Crow and Loretta Lynn for their recording of Loretta's hit 'Coal Miner's Daughter.'

"I'm thrilled to have a nomination but I feel like last year was my year," Miranda tells The Boot. "This year, I plan to sit back and watch Blake take the glory that he is long overdue. He is one of the most nominated artists this year and I think he deserves it."

Blake has five opportunities to take home a CMA trophy, with nods for Entertainer, Male Vocalist, Single and Video for 'Honey Bee' and Album of the Year for 'All About Tonight.'

"I think people have said before that Blake is overdue for CMA awards nominations, but this year they put his name on the ballot. So it's his time," Miranda reasons. "I'm excited just to be his wife and be there Wednesday night to be supportive."

Miranda and Blake are the reigning CMA Female and Male Vocalists, respectively, with Miranda winning her first CMA award last year. She also took home the Album of the Year prize for 'Revolution,' and Single and Video of the Year for 'The House That Built Me.' That tune also was named Song of the Year, an award that went to its writers Tom Douglas and Allen Shamblin.

This year's nomination for Miranda in the Music Event category pairs her with two of her favorite singers. "I'm excited for myself because I get to be there and perform with Loretta and Sheryl," Miranda notes. "Getting to spend that day at Loretta's house with the two of them while we were doing that video two years ago was a seriously life-changing day for me. I mean, I was sitting in Loretta Lynn's kitchen, visiting with two of my heroes. They are both such different people and such different artists but they have both influenced me and my music. It's kind of surreal being nominated with them. It's more than just saying I know them, or that we recorded a song together. I think it just proves that good music is good music; it doesn't have to have a category or a title."

The 45th Annual CMA awards air live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena tonight (Wednesday, Nov. 9) on ABC-TV, beginning at 8:00 PM ET. Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will host the evening's ceremony for the fourth time.
