Miranda Lambert will perform for CBS' 2019 Thanksgiving Day Parade broadcast on Thursday (Nov. 28). The country star will sing her brand-new songs "Bluebird" and "Settling Down" during the TV network's broadcast from New York City's Thanksgiving Day parade route. The Thanksgiving Day Parade on CBS, hosted by Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frazier and Keltie Knight, will air live beginning at 9AM ET.

A new historic marker honoring Jimmie Rodgers, the Father of Country Music, now sits at 416 State St. in Bristol, Tenn.: the site of producer Ralph Peer's 1927 Bristol Sessions, the first commercial country music recordings, which featured Rodgers and the Carter Family. The marker is part of the Mississippi Country Music Trail; it's the Trail's first outside of Mississippi, its 33rd overall and its second in Rodgers' honor, following a marker placed in his hometown of Meridian, Miss., MusicRow reports.

A forthcoming six-CD collection will highlight country icon Hank Williams' radio work. Hank Williams: Pictures From Life’s Other Side — The Man and His Music in Rare Photos and Recordings will feature all 144 performances, in restored and remastered form, that Williams gave while hosting a 15-minute weekday radio broadcast sponsored by Mother's Best Flour Company, Rolling Stone report. The set, produced by Cheryl Pawelski, is due out on Feb. 7.
