Michael W. Smith Joins Jennifer Nettles for ‘Christmas Day’ on ‘CMA Country Christmas’

Jennifer Nettles returned to the stage, performing 'Christmas Day' along with gospel singer Michael W. Smith for 'CMA Country Christmas' on Monday night (Dec. 2).

Smith, who also accompanied them on a beautiful grand piano, perfectly complimented Nettles' powerful vocals. They shared the spotlight with a large children's choir, who sang as snow seemed to fall in the background.

The song can be found on Smith's 2007 album, 'It's a Wonderful Christmas.' In the original version, he performed the song with Christian singer, and 'American Idol' contestant, Mandisa. Download the single here.
