This week, Australian-bred trio the McClymonts, comprised of sisters Mollie, Samantha and Brooke, released their latest album, 'Wrapped Up Good,' which features the hit single title track. (Listen to samples from the CD below.) The project is the band's second U.S. release, following their 2010 album, 'Chaos and Bright Lights.'

Despite their current success, the ladies admit their initial reception by American record executives was lukewarm, being told that "you won't make it here, because you are girls and girls don't sell in country music." Fortunately, the sisters focused all the energy, good and bad, into the new project. 'Wrapped Up Good,' co-produced by Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift, Shania Twain) and Adam Anders (FOX-TV's 'Glee' Music Executive, Backstreet Boys, Nick Jonas), credits at least one band member as a songwriter on 11 of the 12 tracks.

"I think there is a natural element to it that comes with sibling harmonies," Brooke tells The Boot, regarding the distinguishable characteristic of the band. "We practiced in the car, traveling to country music festivals. We've been doing this our whole lives ... You can either harmonize or you can't. Some people just can't get it. And we do all sound alike, it's the tone in our voices. That's why our vocals blend and it works."

After wrapping up their opening act duties on Jason Aldean's 2010 headlining tour, the sisters are forging ahead alone, embarking on a county and state fair tour in promotion for the new album.
