Male Vocalist of the Year is just one of several categories that Dierks Bentley is in the running for at the 2018 CMA Awards, a nod to his big year of music surrounding the release of his album The Mountain. Up-and-comer Luke Combs, another Male Vocalist of the Year nominee, just keeps cranking out hit after hit, with no signs of slowing down.
Thomas Rhett, meanwhile, is still riding multiple successes from his Life Changes album, while last year's winner, Chris Stapleton, appears in multiple categories again in 2018, including Male Vocalist of the Year. Keith Urban, too, makes a repeat appearance on this list.
