Luke Bryan is enjoying a wave of success, picking up a pair of ACM Awards last month and scorching up the charts with his current Top 20 single, 'Rain Is a Good Thing.' Now, the 'Country Man' is about to make his debut appearance on NBC's 'The Tonight Show.'

Luke is scheduled to perform his hit, 'Rain Is a Good Thing,' on the show on Tuesday (May 11), and says it is a dream come true. "I have watched the Tonight Show since I was a kid growing up in Leesburg, Ga.," says the singer. "I can't believe I have been invited to perform on one of television's most iconic shows."

But first, you can catch Luke and his mother, LeClaire, joining host Nan Kelley for a special Mother's Day edition of GAC's 'Top 20 Country Countdown' Friday (May 7) at 8:00 PM ET. LeClaire shares stories from Luke's childhood including calls from his elementary school because they'd temporarily lost her son and another one when he'd darted across the street, running directly into the side of a car when he was in second grade. The show will re-air Saturday (May 8) at 10:00 AM and 5:30 PM ET.
