Luke Bryan's current chart-topping album, 'Tailgates & Tanlines,' has been certified gold by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America), signifying 500,000 copies sold. The milestone marks the singer's second consecutive gold-selling album, fueled by the success of the project's first No. 1 single, 'Country Girl (Shake It for Me).'

"I'm very proud of this album, and to have fans connect with the music in this way is exciting and really humbling," Luke says of his latest collection. "When I was writing and recording this project, I wanted to make an album which made people forget about all the other things in their lives that might stress them out and just have fun! And to have this kind of response from my fans makes me feel like that goal was accomplished!"

'Tailgates & Tanlines' bowed at the top spot earlier this year, selling more than 145,000 copies in its debut week, according to Nielsen Soundscan. 'Country Girl (Shake It for Me)' has also earned an RIAA certification, selling more than a million single digital copies. The project's current single, 'I Don't Want This Night To End' is storming up the country charts, sliding into the Top 25 after only six weeks on the chart.
