Luke Bryan's sultry, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band name-dropping single "Knockin' Boots" got its first national television audience on Sunday night (April 7), during the 2019 ACM Awards. Bryan debuted his new track at the awards show in Las Vegas, Nev.

Right after Miranda Lambert's show-stopping performance, Bryan appeared on stage in a simple blue jeans and leather jacket look. The Entertainer of the Year nominee grinned as he sang, saying, "We're knockin' boots in Vegas tonight!"

"Knockin' Boots" arrived on March 29; Hillary Lindsey, Gordie Sampson and Jon Nite co-wrote the song, which was produced by Jeff and Jody Stevens. It's the first single Bryan has released in 2019, and a promising sign for fans awaiting a follow-up to the country superstar's 2017 album What Makes You Country.

In addition to performing at the 2019 ACM Awards, Bryan is nominated for what would be his third Entertainer of the Year trophy, if he wins, and his first since 2015. In addition, his sentimental single "Most People are Good" is up for Song of the Year.
